Picture a cluster of rustic stone houses, complete with pastel French doors, quaint balconies, and a bountiful landscape bursting with mulberry, mastic, jujube, and olive trees - that’s Alavya, a 25-room retreat on the western coast of Turkey. Located in the unspoiled port town of Alaçatı, Alavya has individually styled rooms by celebrated designer Hakan Ezer where custom-made furnishings sit side-by-side with standout works by renowned Turkish artists - such as Zeki Faik İzer, Sabri Berkel, and Ahmet Çerkez - from the owners’ private collection.
International traditional Aegean dishes are served at the hotel’s three restaurants, headed by talented chefs Huseyin Pancar, Melih Tekşen, and Sedat Arslan, while the smell of fresh bread exudes from the hotel’s patisserie in the morning. Guests are invited to the bar under the mulberry tree in the hotel’s courtyard for cocktails and local wines. Alavya’s spa also features steam rooms, a gym, and a sauna for those looking to relax, while Vespas and bicycles are on hand for the explorer-at-heart.
HotelSwaps is pleased to welcome Alavya as its newest member in Alacati, Turkey.
