Located on a private estate along the Garden Route, Kurland Villa is nestled between the Western Cape Mountains and Plettenberg Bay’s beaches.

Kurland Villa is the home of Peter and Dianne Behr, who established the Kurland Hotel and Polo Estate. The property has been in the family for three generations. The Villa is situated on private property adjoining the Estate, near indigenous forest, and in a secluded and commanding location.

Kurland Villa is a large, recently built home designed in the Cape Dutch tradition. The interior finishes are of the highest specifications and the Villa has been beautifully and elegantly appointed. Kurland Villa is the perfect base for Polo enthusiasts who might be playing or watching polo at the Estate.

Plettenberg Bay has unspoilt beaches, a major river mouth - the Keurbooms River and lagoon, and good restaurants and shops. There are 15 kms of beaches, perfect for long walks, collecting shells and safe for swimming. It has become well known for whale and dolphin watching, as well as deep-sea fishing. The Keurbooms River has facilities to hire small boats to spend a day up the river.

HotelSwaps is pleased to welcome Kurland Villa as a new destination in its international network of hotel members.
