West Mountain Inn, a historic inn in Arlington, Vermont, is built on 150 mountainside acres of wooded land, making it the ideal place for hiking, cross country skiing, or canoeing or kayaking in nearby Battenkill River.

The property consists of a Main Inn, with 14 individually decorated rooms or suites in a classic New England lodge style with Colonial design aspects, as well as the Millhouse and the Cottage, multi-bedroom townhouse units.

The restaurant at West Mountain Inn serves New England fare and is headed by Chef Jeff Scott, who works with local farms to source organic meats and produce, artisanal Vermont cheeses, and even seasonal game.

Stratton and Bromley ski resorts are within a 30-minute drive of the hotel. Manchester is eight miles away and has many restaurants, shops, historic sights, and golfing, as well as seasonal fairs and festivals, and Bennington is just south, where guests can visit several museums and monuments. While its location is ideal for enjoying some of the best that Vermont has to offer, West Mountain Inn is a relaxing mountainside retreat for those who want to do it all, or nothing at all.

HotelSwaps is pleased to welcome West Mountain Inn as its very first member in Vermont.
